Introduction

Here Paris sets the stage by demonstrating the importance of supporting the natural curves of the spine, showing how this will impact the experience you have in your body. She describes how we are currently in a “poor posture epidemic” and lays the groundwork for how the Bowspring Method can help. 

Module 1: Central Channel & Radiant Heart

Learn how these two expressions work together synergistically to lengthen the spine and ribs, making you feel taller and more expanded through your torso. This will bring ease and flow to your body and boost the expression of your radiant heart.     

Module 2: Awaken Your Back Body

Disconnection from the backside of the body leads to a lot of pain and strain from some muscles underworking and other muscles overworking. Here, Paris shows you how to ignite these sleepy muscles (especially your butt!) and teaches you how to engage your butt in a way that lifts and strengthens! 

Module 3: Power Up Your Everyday Posture

The shape your body takes when you sit, stand, walk and bend over directly impacts the way you feel in your body. Here you will learn the proper alignment for moving with flexibility and ease.

About Paris Latka

I am a geek about health and wellness and love to learn the best and most efficient ways to support optimizing our health. For me, combining nutrition therapy, myo-fascia release bodywork and Bowspring movement therapy set the stage for wellness to become that much easier to achieve and maintain. 

Several years ago I was feeling sluggish, in-pain and heavy in my body and movement. I was confused because I was 32 years old and practicing yoga about five days/week and also teaching yoga. If I was practicing so much yoga, why was my body hurting? 

I was surprised that as I sought answers to my queries from other yoga therapists and people in my Boulder community, no one could help me long term. How was this possible if I was living in the yoga capital of the west, in Boulder Colorado?

My search for a solution to the pain and the strain I was feeling in my body brought me to Bowspring. This different philosophy of how to move the body intrigued me and when I began practicing consistently, the pain disappeared, I felt more alive in my body, more activated through my muscles, and lighter in my mood. After a month of practicing Bowspring, I stopped doing yoga and committed fully to this system. I am so grateful I did because the Bowspring has been one of the biggest tools to my personal transformation and evolution. 

I have been practicing Bowspring for the past seven years and teaching Bowspring for five. I am a certified Bowspring instructor and have been trained with the founders of this system, Desi Springer and John Friend.
