Module 1: The State of Disease - How Sick Are We?
In Module 1, you and Robyn will dive into the truth about the disease state that we’re living in and why major players in the food industry are much to blame. Some of what she discusses may scare you, some may sadden you, but understanding these facts is crucial to being more intune about your previous and current relationship with food.
Module 2: The Failing Food System - What’s Hiding In Your Food
Food wasn’t always a controversial topic in the U.S. But gradual, intentional changes in how foods are grown and literally engineered has been detrimental to the well-being of people of all ages and backgrounds. In Module 2, Robyn will explain the change food has made in the U.S. and how those changes are failing us as a country.
Module 3: Learn the Labels - What Do They Actually Mean?
In Module 3, you will learn how the food industry disguises unhealthy ingredients and master label literacy as a way to optimize nutrition and health and fuel your body intentionally.
Module 4: Produce
Not all produce is grown equally. In Module 4, Robyn will walk you through how key ingredients, like corn and wheat, in our foods has been manipulated and how to identify cleanest and dirtiest produce in the grocery store.
Module 5: Dairy & Meat
Did you know that 80% of the antibiotics used in the U.S. are administered on animals in our food supply. We don’t say this to scare you, simply to inform. In Module 5, Robyn will teach you about how animals are raised and treated in the U.S. food supply so you can make the meat and dairy choices that are best for you and your family.
Module 6: Additives
High-fructose corn syrup, potassium bromate, artificial flavorings, nitrates. Additives are everywhere. The important part in knowing this, is in the knowing. Robyn’s motto when it comes to additives is no one is going to be perfect, but by understanding what additives are, the harm they pose, and in what foods they can be found, you can be a more informed and confident consumer.
Module 7: The Junk in Your Head with Mariel Hemingway
Special guest Mariel Hemingway joins Robyn in Module 7 to discuss the emotional baggage we carry when it comes to food. Through conversation and exercises, you’ll learn how the food baggage in your head can weigh on you more than you may think and ways to release those uncomfortable emotions.
Module 8: Interpersonal Relationship with Food
Enduring and coping with opposing food perspectives can be tricky, and frustrating. In Module 8, you’ll learn how to navigate negativity after making shifts in your food and nutritional habitss
